Canada Kayak is an operational branch of the “Canadian International Sportfishing Association (CISA) ”that will field a team of kayak anglers to participate in Pan American and World Championships and promote sportfishing across Canada.
If you have an established Kayak Fishing Series (live events only) in Canada that record points for AOY and use an online Catch Photo & Release App to record anglers catches, contact CISA Kayak Canada to have your Kayak Fishing Series considered for future Team Canada Kayak Anglers.
The 2023 Team Canada Kayak Anglers were selected from Kayak Fishing Series (live events only) in 2022 that have either won events, qualified for Bass Nation Kayak Series Championship, and either won AOY or finished high in an established Kayak Fishing Series.
Potential Team Canada Kayak Team Members are selected from Established Kayak Fishing Series across Canada. Invites will start with the “Angler Of The Year” (AOY) from each series. Consideration will be given to kayak anglers that travel and successfully participate in one or more National Series in the United States.
